Safety Tips

AnglingMasters.com makes it easy to express yourself, connect with your fishing buddies, and meet anglers from all over North America.

While youre here, please remember that AnglingMasters.com is a public posting site. With that in mind, here are a few common sense guidelines that you should follow when using the AMI website:

  • Avoid posting anything that would make it easy for a stranger to find you or anything you dont want the whole world to know. This includes your phone number, address, IM screen name, or specific location.
  • Be careful about adding strangers to your friends list. It's fun to connect with new AMI angling buddies, but its a sad fact that people on the internet are not always who they say they are. Avoid meeting people in person who you do not fully know. If you must meet someone, do it in a public place and bring a friend.
  • Don't post anything that could embarrass you later. Think twice before posting a photo or info you wouldn't want your grandmother or your boss to see.
  • If you feel someones behavior on this website is inappropriate, please let us know. Harassment, hate speech, inappropriate images, and other offensive content should be reported to AMI immediately. Please use the Report button at the bottom of this website to contact us.
